The Problem
Four hundred million tons. That is the amount of plastic produced each year globally. Only 10% of virgin plastic products are recycled, slowly suffocating the global environment. New research shows that microplastics are in our water, food, and bodies leading to an uptick in endocrine dysfunction and various cancers.
Our Solution
Null Objective began five years ago with a simple goal—developing a biodegradable plastic that could help mitigate microplastic pollution. Founder Collin Clark has spent these years and his own finances researching, developing, and patenting a process to replace petroleum plastics in a a variety of applications and industries. When formed, the plastic-free material is extremely strong, durable, and flame resistant up to 7,000°F all while being non-toxic, shelf-stable, and sustainably sourced. The cherry on top is the material biodegrades rapidly in soil or water.
Our Future
We’re working to bring TerraLyte™ products to everyone. By teaming up with top manufacturers, we’ve already shown that our material can be used in standard molding machines, proving it can truly replace plastic. As we grow our brand, we will undergo further testing to increase regulatory compliance and expand our product line to new markets.
